What's included?
Mentorships include an in-person, fully styled shooting session up to 1 hour, followed by an in-person 1 hour editing session. We will go over the basics, in-depth, shooting techniques, session flow, styling and then editing from start to finish using Lightroom and Photoshop. I will go over everything I use to edit and provide links to all of it. You will also be given access to my pre-recorded editing videos for you to reference after our session and editing together.

We're proud of the retreats we've put together so far and can't wait to see you at our stunning 2024 retreats!
We're Maci and Casey! We met 3 years ago when Maci second shot for Casey at a wedding. We became fast friends and talked about our dreams of hosting content retreats around the US and eventually the world.
We've hosted many styled shoots and events separately and then came together in 2022 for our first big retreat in Brookings, Oregon. It was insane and absolutely stunning. In 2023 we took off to Montana to shoot in Whitefish, Glacier National Park and a blind horse rescue - LES Haven Ranch.
Now for 2024 we're headed on three more adventures and we'd love for you to join us!
I'm a twin mama, fire wife, scuba diver and adventure lover. I am the owner of Sacred Knot Weddings & Elopements. I'm a wedding and elopement photographer based in Central Oklahoma.
I also own Lulubird Creative, LLC where I specialize in families, maternity and all things western.

I am the owner of Casey Dee Photography. I was born and raised in Oklahoma. I am now based out of Harrah, Ok. I grew up loving horses, fishing, cheerleading and being around my family.
Today I spend my days with my husband, Jake, out on the lake fishing or at home with our four dogs!

There is a 3.5hr drive from there to Forks. We highly recommend carpooling if possible!

Additional Info:
There is a Twilight tour we can do in town OR we can opt to go hike if everyone would like to do a group activity in our down time. We love it all!
We will have at least one of the elopements as Twilight inspired and themed. It won't be exact, but we will certainly have fun with the theme for all of us Twilight lovers!

Retreat FAQs
What to expect
- No, unless stated otherwise in the retreat information and contract.
Forks, WA - Airbnb is included.
• Do you run the shoots the entire time or
is it free-for-all?
- In order for the shoots to run efficiently and smoothly, the first half of the shoots are directed by the hosts, Maci and/or Casey. Clients will then be given freedom of directing the models in prompts and direction. Your personal space is most likely to be invaded - we get shoulder to shoulder and crouch on top of each other to get the shots!
• Is my spouse/family/companion allowed to come?
- Absolutely! Turn it into a little vacay-getaway! To avoid chaos, confusion and distraction, they are not permitted to be directly at the shoots. They may be in the area (down the beach), but not directly at the shoot.
For Forks, WA if your family comes, please make other airbnb arrangements, as we can not accommodate additional people there.
• Will we have a vendor list?
- We will provide vendor lists when they are applicable! For instance - a family session may not have vendors to list. If you would like to share their full gallery with vendors, you will have the option to send us the Client gallery links to be send with ours in an introductory email with your information, socials and website.
• What if it rains?!
- Fortunately, we don't melt! We will shoot rain or shine - unless we feel the situation is dangerous, even then other arrangements will be made.
• I'm not great at booking travel, can you help?
- Absolutely, I am more than happy to help to the best of my abilities!
• Can we carpool or share an Airbnb?
- Yes! We encourage it to help you cut costs! As we get closer to the retreat we will connect everyone in a group message so you can see if anyone wants to split vehicle or lodging costs.
